Everything you need before your visit
We want your experience at Heart of Texas Oral Surgery to be as smooth and stress-free as possible, starting well before you arrive. Here is everything you need to know to prepare for your procedure.
Your journey with us, step by step
At Heart of Texas Oral Surgery, we believe a well-informed patient is a more comfortable patient. Here is what you can expect from the moment you schedule your consultation to the day you walk out after your procedure.
Your consultation
During your initial visit, one of our surgeons will review your dental and medical history, conduct a thorough examination, and use 3D Imaging technology to evaluate your anatomy and develop a precise treatment plan. This is your opportunity to ask questions, understand your options, and discuss any concerns about sedation, recovery, or anything else on your mind. We take the time to make sure you leave feeling clear and confident, not rushed.
Day of your procedure
Our team will review your pre-operative instructions with you and ensure you are comfortable before we begin. We offer in-house IV Sedation and Anesthesia administered by our own surgical team, so you can feel relaxed and at ease throughout your procedure. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities at every stage.
Recovery
After your procedure, we will walk you through detailed post-operative care instructions and make sure you know exactly what to expect during healing. Our team is available to answer questions and address any concerns that arise, because our commitment to you does not end when you leave the chair.
Guided post-operative recovery
You’ll receive personalized post-operative instructions to promote a smooth healing process. Our team remains readily available to answer questions and address concerns throughout your recovery. We also coordinate closely with your referring dentist to ensure long-term success and optimal outcomes.
